Guar Gum Export from India
Practical information for international buyers on specification, sourcing and shipment planning.

Guar gum is a plant-based hydrocolloid obtained from the endosperm of guar seed (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba). Commercial quality is selected around the buyer’s required viscosity, mesh size, hydration performance and microbiological profile.
Kinshiv works with qualified processors in India’s traditional guar-growing belt and coordinates pre-shipment documentation against the agreed specification. Typical commercial discussions cover food, pharmaceutical and technical grades, along with packaging, quantity and destination requirements.
For a first order, the most useful starting point is the target application, required viscosity method, mesh, quantity, packing format and destination. That allows the specification and quotation to be aligned before a shipment is booked.
Exact parameters are confirmed and certified per shipment; the ranges below reflect standard commercial grades.

Use these buyer guides to understand the parameters that normally matter before a bulk order is quoted. Exact commercial specifications remain shipment-specific.
